Maybe it’s because I posted about it, maybe it’s because I got so much love from everyone in the wake of the last post, and maybe it’s just because things never stay the same, thank god- but it all looks better today. The hurdles seem manageable, the little black rain cloud that was living about my head has moved on and I’m grateful. Very, very grateful. As my friend Gil always said, onwards and upwards…

  1. Amen sister! Onwards and Upwards. Even when things are bumpy. Or splotchy. Depending on what we are referring too. xo

  2. I’m glad you found your way out of that trough. If others await, your friends and family will be ready with ropes and metaphorical pickup trucks and whatnot to help you out of them. I’m registering my long-distance support. I’m here, reading, listening, and keeping you in my agnostic version of prayers (“So here’s a really good chance to show me that you’re there, Divinity… take care of my friend, her sister and her dad!”)

I’d also be delighted to read your Kindertransport play, if ever you want.

  3. I like that…onwards and upwards…what a great way to view life!

  4. …And maybe it had something to do with you processing everything like emotional ninja. I’m smiling atcha.

  5. I think I know a lot about many things and everybody. I always seem to play the part of Lucy because the “Dr.” is always in (even when no one else is there). I think that I would be very happy if there were a rhyme or a reason to everything. Go this way it turns left, go that way it goes right. When I try to live with such rigid lines, I find myself leveled when I want to go left, and my life makes a u-turn. . My friend Richard sends you this with love, hoping you will rest easy tonight knowing that there is a God in the Universe…and you are not it!

“You are led through your lifetime by the inner learning creature, the playful spiritual being that is your real self. Don’t turn away from possible futures before you’re certain you don’t have anything to learn from them .You’re always free to change your mind and choose a different future, or a different past.”” The greatest quotation of his that I wear in my heart and live in my life, is

    Sweet Dreams!
